In order to obtain range ID, you must attend
an orientation program, that reviews range rules and regulations
and goes over policies and procedures.
Dates: Contact range office for upcoming
dates or check the schedule of events.
Time: 1-2 hours.
Cost: No fee.
Course: This program is designed to provide
the participant with all the information that he/she will need
to have an enjoyable, safe visit at the Atlantic County Public
Range Facility. The program reviews all of the range rules and
regulations for the pistol, rifle, shotgun and archery facilities
at the range. Safety is reinforced throughout the program. Participants
will be provided with a copy
of the range manual and other informational literature as well
as be given the opportunity to have answered any questions regarding
the facility and it’s
use. A tour of the range will also be given.
This program is required for everyone wishing to get a range identification
card.
What you need to bring:
- Pen and notebook.
- All other material will be provided.
- Applications will be available to be completed during this program.
- Two forms of ID with name and home address on them.
- Any Proof of safety training. ex: (NJ Hunter Educational Courses)
