DEFENSIVE TACTICS INSTRUCTORS COURSE

This six day course is designed for law enforcement personnel responsible for instructing defensive tactics. Upon successful completion of the course, students will be certified to tech basic handcuffing, subject control, self defense and weapon retention. The program will also include training in Pressure Point Control Tactics, Sudden In Custody Deaths, liability issues and use of force reports. This is a hands on course and all participants must demonstrate an acceptable level of proficiency. Written and practical exams will be given at the conclusion of the training. Students should be in good condition and free of any physical limitations. Students will need their complete duty belt, hinge handcuffs and key.
