Pre-Academy Admission Standards for Potential Trainees
The purpose of this announcement is to provide fair warning to potential trainees that passing the pre-academy physical fitness test will be a prerequisite for admission to certain basic courses that begin on or after January 1, 2015. It is important for the PTC and the academies to make a reasonable and timely effort to notify potential trainees and their employers about the implications of this policy. Hopefully this early notification will motivate potential trainees to prepare themselves for the physical demands of basic training. It has been our policy in the past to use this preferred method. The Pre-Academy Admission Standards for Potential Trainees has been posted to the "PTC Rules/Act" tab of the PTC website at the link below. Thank you.
