Free "Save Energy - Save Money" Workshop - Brigantine

Location: Brigantine Senior Center, 265 42nd St., Brigantine, NJ

Learn how to reduce your energy use and save money on utilities while learning about programs available to you to help you remain independent through rebates and services to help pay bills.

NJPIRG's Energy Service Corps can also provide free individual winterization services to homeowners. Weatherization will consist of Stockton Energy Service Corps members doing an energy audit of your home and then proceeding to make simple weatherization such as caulking windows, replacing incandescent light bulbs with more energy efficient options, and correctly setting thermostats.  These simple changes can save up to 30 percent on utility bills and greatly reduce the amount of energy used in your home.

Anyone wishing to stay for a free lunch (a $1.00 donation is appreciated) after the workshop needs to call Linda Nace at (609) 266-2891 between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm at least 2 days in advance to make a reservation.
