NOTE: Event has already taken place. Birding with Binoculars Saturday, Sept. 8, 8:30 - 11 AM, children 8-12 years old accompanied by an adult are invited to learn how to use binoculars, field notes, and birding guides to identify resident and migratory species. Presented by the Great Egg Harbor River Watershed Association, program will begin in the 2nd picnic area of the Estell Manor Park and culminate with discussion and snacks in the auditorium. Participants should wear sturdy walking shoes, and bring water and insect repellent. Binoculars will be provided, or bring your own. FREE, but must register in advance, space is limited; call 625-7000 x5431.
