Collection: The mission of the College Archives is to collect, organize and make available records of the College which have historical, research, legal, fiscal, and/or administrative value. Collections include books, magazines, media, newspapers, manuscripts, photographs and artifacts on Atlantic City, its redevelopment and housing and the impact of gambling on the region. Published works on Atlantic County and other areas of southern New Jersey are collected. Materials on the environment of southern New Jersey, its bays and waterways, are collected including the Geological Survey of New Jersey. Also included are the Pine Barrens/Pinelands collection covering the history, geography, agriculture and ecology of the region, and documents and meeting minutes from the Pinelands Commission. Open to the public, the Archives Reading Room is located in the E-Wing library on the lower level. Produced in cooperation with the Atlantic Heritage Center. |
