Executive Offices

County Executive Dennis Levinson is a Ventnor native and a graduate of Atlantic City High School. He obtained a B.A. from what is now Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ and is a former history teacher.

Levinson was elected Atlantic County executive in November, 1999 and re-elected in 2003, 2007 and 2011.

Prior to this position he was a councilman in the City of Northfield from 1982 to 1986 and served four terms as an Atlantic County Freeholder at Large. While on the Board of Freeholders, he was chosen by his peers to serve as chairman six times.

Levinson is a member of many professional and community organizations.
