H1N1 and Seasonal Flu Shots are available by appointment to eligible individuals. Call (609) 645-5933 to schedule an appointment in Northfield or Hammonton.

H1N1 shots are available to any individual of the state, age 6 months and older, at no charge. Seasonal flu shots are available to county residents age 18 and older for $15. (No out-of-pocket cost for Medicare Part B recipients).

Seasonal flu shots are available to any resident 18 years or older for a fee of $15.  Pneumonia shots are available to eligible residents age 65 and older for a fee of $25.  There is no out-of-pocket fee for either shot for Medicare Part B recipients who present their Medicare card.

This year, it is essential that people not only protect themselves against seasonal flu, but also the 2009 H1N1 (swine flu) influenza. Although a seasonal flu shot will NOT protect against the H1N1 virus, it will help to keep people healthier and reduce hospitalizations and visits to the doctor and emergency room.

In order to vaccinate as many New Jerseyans as possible, the Department of Health and Senior Services has notified vaccine providers that they may offer the vaccine to all who want it.  For this reason, Atlantic County Division of Public Health will offer both H1N1 vaccine and seasonal flu vaccine at the next scheduled clinic.
