GETTING
AROUND - ATLANTIC COUNTY ROADS UNDER CONSTRUCTION
Beginning Monday, June 4, road work will begin on Pitney Road in Galloway Township, between Jimmie Leeds Road and Route 9 as part of a county road improvement project. A detour will be in effect for north bound traffic between 7 AM and 5 PM. South bound traffic will be permitted through the project area. The detour is expected to be in effect through the week.
Delays are expected. Motorists are advised to find an alternate route and allow extra time to reach their destinations. County officials are aware of the temporary inconvenience to motorists and local businesses in the area and appreciate their continued cooperation and patience.
