GETTING
AROUND - ATLANTIC COUNTY ROADS UNDER CONSTRUCTION
As part of an ongoing road resurfacing project conducted by the Atlantic County Improvement Authority, a detour will be in effect on Tuesday, September 27 and Wednesday, September 28 (weather permitting) on Somers Point-Mays Landing Road (Rt. 559) in Egg Harbor Township between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM.
The detour will be in effect via English Creek Road (Rt. 575) and Zion Road (Rt. 615). Police will be on site. Delays are expected. Motorists are advised to find an alternate route.
Beginning Monday, September 19, the Atlantic County Improvement Authority will be conducting a road project on Somers Point-Mays Landing Road (Rt. 559) in Egg Harbor Township from the Jobs Point Bridge to the junction of Zion Road. Work will continue for approximately three weeks, Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM. Lane shifts and/or reductions will be in effect. Police will be onsite. Motorists are advised to find an alternate route. Delays are expected.
