In order to view these maps you must have the
latest version of the free Adobe Reader (or version 5 or higher) installed
and functioning on your PC, the map files completely downloaded and saved

We'll demonstrate downloading and viewing a
static PDF file of a map from this section of the Static Maps page. |

First you'll save the map to your computer. Use
your mouse to Right-Click on the desired map then select or Left
Click on "Save Target As". |

You'll be prompted to Save the file. Be certain to remember where
you saved it so you can retrieve and open the file later if you need
to. |

You will most likely see this box next (after the download is complete).
Click on Open. If you don't get this box and the download is complete,
open Adobe Acrobat Reader and open the file you just saved. |

This is the screen you should see after you've opened this file.
In order to zoom in on a section of the file you will need the Magnifying
Glass tool. If it's not already selected, select it from the toolbar.
Click and Drag to draw a zoom box on the map. When you release
the mouse button, the map will automatically zoom in. |

To pan left, right, up or down hold down the spacebar, click and
hold the mouse on the map and drag the map to move to any other
part of the map. |

You can also Right-Click on the map which will give you a menu
with options for resizing the map as a whole. |
