|
Eric L. Reynolds of Egg Harbor Township has been unanimously approved by the Atlantic County Board of Freeholders to serve a four-year term on the Atlantic Cape Community College (ACCC) Board of Trustees. He succeeds John Bettis of Pleasantville whose term expires November 1, 2003.
Reynolds, the Executive Director of Development for the Borgata Resort Spa & Casino in Atlantic City, was nominated to the board by County Executive Dennis Levinson. "Eric has extensive experience with public and private industry which includes the development of several training, education and employment programs. He is well-qualified to advise the college through its continued expansion of services. I am confident he will be an asset to the board," said Levinson.
Prior to joining the Borgata in 2000, Reynolds served as department head of the Atlantic County Department of Famiy and Community Development where he was responsible for administering the county's social service, welfare and workforce development programs. He also served as a labor relations specialist for the New Jersey Judiciary and as a human resources director for the Superior Court of New Jersey and Caesars Casino Hotel.
In addition, he has been active in several professional and civic associations such as the Rotary Club of Atlantic City; the Boy Scouts of America, Jersey Shore Council; and the Atlantic Cape May Workforce Investment Board. Reynolds is a graduate of Northeastern University in Boston where he earned both his bachelor and master's degrees.
