Levinson Nominates Anthony Ritz to Parks Commission

Anthony Ritz of Hammonton has been nominated to the Atlantic County Parks and Environment Advisory Commission by Atlantic County Executive Dennis Levinson.
Ritz is the owner of AJ Ritz Contracting of Hammonton and is a member and former chairman of the Hammonton Park Commission. He also dedicates his time to numerous civic organizations which include the Hammonton Jaycees, the Hammonton Exchange Club, the Hammonton Rotary Club and the Hammonton Zoning Board. In addition, Ritz is a member of the Winslow Fire Company.
"Anthony Ritz is an active member of his community with an interest in enhancing its quality of life. I am certain he will be an asset to this commission and will take great responsibility in performing his duties," stated Levinson.
Ritz earned his New Jersey Real Estate License in 1978 as a graduate of the South Jersey Professional School of Business and was employed as a realtor prior to becoming a business owner in 1990.
The Atlantic County Parks and Environment Advisory Commission consists of nine members appointed to staggered three-year terms. The committee serves to advise and consult with the county's Division of Parks and Recreation on all matters related to the county park system, the environment, and the preservation of county property for recreation and historic purposes.
Ritz's appointment will require the advice and consent of the Board of Freeholders.
