Levinson to Present 2008 Budget Report - January 15

Atlantic County Executive Dennis Levinson will report on the financial state of Atlantic County government and outline priorities for 2008 during his annual address to the Atlantic County Board of Freeholders on Tuesday, January 15 at 4 PM in the auditorium of the Atlantic County Office Building, 1333 Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic City.
Traditionally the county executive presents the annual county budget at this time. However, due to an additional state-mandated tax levy cap, the county cannot yet finalize its budget until the state Division of Local Government Services issues its final guidelines on how to calculate the second cap requirement. Since the Atlantic County Administrative Code requires that the county present the budget as near to January 15 as practical, Levinson is honoring that requirement with the presentation of this preliminary budget report. |
