Levinson to Begin New Term as County Executive

Atlantic County Executive Dennis Levinson will be sworn in for another term of office as county executive by Judge Michael Donio during the Atlantic County Board of Freeholders' reorganization meeting on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at 4 PM. The meeting will be held at the Atlantic County Office Building, 1333 Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic City.
Dennis Levinson was first elected county executive in 1999 and was re-elected four years later. This past November he defeated Sheriff Jim McGettigan who challenged the incumbent. Levinson is a former history teacher and previously served as an Atlantic County freeholder and a councilman in the City of Northfield. |
