BIOGRAPHY

 

Rich Dase has dedicated a great deal of his life to public service. As a member of the staff of U.S. Congressman Frank LoBiondo, he worked toward resolving constitutent problems; in 2005 to 2007 he served on the Galloway Township Council, and is currently a seventh grade social studies teacher at the Galloway Township Middle School, where he coaches intramural sports and is a member of the school’s Safety Committee and Bullybusting Team.

Freeholder Dase has been a member of the Galloway Police Athletic League (13 years as a basketball coach) and Galloway Township Elks Lodge. Prior to his career in education, Rich worked in the advertising department of three Atlantic City casinos and worked as a freelance advertising copywriter.

In 2005, he was the highest vote getter of the eight candidates for Galloway Council. He served on the Council’s education, budget and community service committees and was a member of the Planning Board. Rich was elected District Four Freeholder in November 2007 and reelected in 2010 and 2013. Rich has been a resident of Galloway Township his entire life and currently lives there with his wife Andrea, and children Ayden, Nicholas and Kylie.
