CALL TO ORDER |
The Reorganization Meeting of the Atlantic County Board of Chosen Freeholders was called to order by Sonya G. Harris, Clerk to the Board at 4:00 p.m., Eastern Standard time, on the above-mentioned date at the Atlantic County Criminal Court Complex, Court Room No. 1, 4997 Unami Boulevard, Mays Landing, New Jersey.

OPEN PUBLIC MEETINGS ACT |
Statement of Open Public Meeting Compliance: Pursuant to the Open Public Meetings Act, Sonya G. Harris announced that adequate notice of this meeting, as required by said Act, has been provided to The Press, the Mainland Journal, posted on the bulletin boards at 1333 Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic City, the Stillwater Building, 201 Shore Road, Northfield and the County Clerk’s Office in Mays Landing. |

Pastor Kevin Bernat gave the Invocation followed by the flag salute led by Sonya G. Harris, Clerk to the Board. |
OATH OF OFFICE |
Mrs. Harris called Assemblyman Vincent Polistina to the dias to administer the oath of office to Freeholder James Curcio.
Mrs. Harris called Assemblyman John Amodeo to the dias to administer the oath of office to Freeholder Frank Giordano.
Mrs. Harris called Judge Michael Donio to the dias to administer the oath of office to Freeholder-elect Frank D. Formica.

APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRMAN OF THE 2010 BOARD OF CHOSEN FREEHOLDERS |
Freeholder Sutton moved and Freeholder Giordano seconded a motion to appoint Freeholder James Curcio as Chairman of the 2010 Board of Chosen Freeholders for a term to expire on December 31, 2010.

RESOLUTION NO. 2
APPOINTMENT OF THE VICE CHAIRMAN OF THE 2010 BOARD OF CHOSEN FREEHOLDERS |
Freeholder Giordano moved and Freeholder Formica seconded a motion to appoint Freeholder Joseph McDevitt as Vice Chairman of the 2010 Board of Chosen Freeholders for a term to expire on December 31, 2010.

Freeholder Giordano moved and Freeholder Cooper seconded a motion informing the newspapers of the regular meetings of the Board of Chosen Freeholders for 2010.

RESOLUTION NO. 4
APPOINTMENT OF REPRESENTATIVE TO NJAC |
Freeholder Sutton moved and Freeholder McDevitt seconded a motion to nominate Chairman James Curcio as Atlantic County representative to the New Jersey Association of Counties.

Freeholder Sutton moved and Freeholder Giordano seconded a motion to appoint Frank D. Formica First Alternate Atlantic County representative to the New Jersey Association of Counties.

Freeholder Sutton moved and Freeholder Cooper seconded a motion to designate depositories and cash management plan for the County of Atlantic for 2010.

Freeholder Giordano moved and Freeholder Cooper seconded a motion to establish petty cash funds for various departments and divisions of Atlantic County for 2010.

RESOLUTION NO. 11
AMENDING A CHANGE FUND FOR PUBLIC HEALTH |
Freeholder Sutton moved and Freeholder Cooper seconded a motion to amend a change fund for Public Health increasing the fund from $300.00 to $700.00.

Chairman Curcio opened the meeting to the public comments at 4:30 p.m. Being none, Chairman Curcio closed the public portion at 4:30 p.m.

Each Freeholder offered comments regarding the coming year on the 2010 Freeholder Board. Congratulations were extended to the newly elected sworn Freeholders and the Chairman and Vice Chairman for 2010. |

Chairman Curcio entertained a motion to adjourn the Freeholder’s Reorganization Meeting. Freeholder Giordano moved and Freeholder Cooper seconded a motion to adjourn the Freeholder meeting. The meeting was adjourned at 4:47 p.m. |
