The Pleasantville Family Center is a community based site which serves as a central point of contact for families. The center is one of five family centers in Atlantic County, which provide "one -stop shopping" for services. Family Service Association operates the Pleasantville Family Center. Services for FamiliesFamily Resource Counselors assess the needs of the family and suggest appropriate services at the Center and elsewhere in the community. They offer support and coordination to help the family get the services they need. Services offered at the Center include:
Services for Children and Youth A variety of services and activities are available. Parent permission forms are required.

Case Management
The Resource Counselor is responsible for case management and care coordination for services that are of a non-medical nature, inclusive of but not limited to mental health, substance abuse counseling, housing assistance, and information and referral services. Outpatient Counseling ServicesOutpatient Counseling Services are offered to individuals, couples and families who need the help of someone who is specially trained to understand the many problems that effect people in our contemporary society. Counseling sessions are tailored to meet the needs of each person. Counseling services are by appointment. Counseling is offered through the operating agency. FeesMany services at the Pleasantville Family Center are free. Family Services charges fees for some of the services it provides however, no one is refused services because of a lack of funds. Health insurance and Medicaid payments are accepted. Visa and Mastercard may also be used. ConfidentialityThe privacy of all persons who seek help is respected and services are provided confidentially. |
