Traffic Advisory - Somers Point/Mays Landing Road

Effective March 2, 2006:

The Jobs Point Bridge over Patcong Creek on Somers Point-Mays Landing Road (Rt. 559), at the border of Egg Harbor Township and Somers Point, is now closed to traffic as part of a bridge stabilization project. The bridge has been closed a few days earlier than scheduled (March 6) due to further deterioration of the deck surface. The bridge will remain closed for approximately 60 days. The bridge is located less than one mile west of the intersection of Route 9 and Rt. 559 in Somers Point.

A detour will remain in effect 24 hours a day, seven days a week until further notice.
