Atlantic County 2-1-1 Call Center Answers Your Needs

Looking for child care services or after school programs? Need assistance with transportation or home health care? Or perhaps information about health insurance programs, substance abuse intervention or utility assistance. The answers to these and many questions can be found by calling 2-1-1.

The 2-1-1 statewide partnership, a subsidiary of the United Ways of New Jersey, is a coordinated system that connects callers to the health and human services, community resources and government assistance they need.

In Atlantic County the Division of Intergenerational Services serves as the local call center, one of ten centers geographically located throughout the state. The Atlantic County 2-1-1 call center replaces the services of Information Atlantic and NJ Ease. Certified call specialists are available to make appropriate referrals and monitor outcomes to ensure callers receive the proper services.

As part of the partnership agreement, the Atlantic County call center maintains a database of services and organizations within the local service system and has full access to a statewide database. In addition to providing round-the-clock information and referral services, the Atlantic County 2-1-1 call center also offers translation services and TTY/TTD accessibility.

So next time you have a question, remember to call 2-1-1. It's that easy.
