Traffic Safety Advisory - Old New York Road Bridge, Port Republic
Beginning Monday, April 25 (weather permitting) County Bridge #PR-7, Old New York Road over Nacote Creek in Port Republic, will be closed to all traffic so that damage caused by a recent motor vehicle accident can be repaired. Repairs will include the removal and replacement of a damaged guard rail and a portion of the deck in addition to the installation of additional support components and repaving.
During the bridge closing, all vehicular, pedestrian and bicycle traffic will be detoured onto Main Street, Mill Road and Riverside Drive. A detour will be in effect 24 hours a day from Monday, April 25 through Friday, April 29.
