Atlantic City -- The Atlantic County Advisory Commission on Women will host its 9th Annual Legislative Breakfast on Friday, March 4 at 8:00 AM at the Mays Landing Golf and Country Club in Hamilton Township.
“This event attracts key legislators from all over the county," said commission chair Joanne Yard. “Recently we surveyed our constituents, the women and girls of Atlantic County, to determine the issues that are most important to them. As a result, the commission will feature a panel of experts who will discuss health care and the related matters that were highest in their ranking of important issues,” she continued.
The panelist will include Dr. Cynthia Wilcox Lischick, New Jersey Coalition for Battered Women; Rita Allen-Harris, Family Services Association; G. Bruce Ward, Atlantic Health Initiatives, Inc.; and Dr. Russell Harrison, Rutgers, The State University.
“We expect that the breakfast will provide an excellent opportunity for our residents and our legislators to convene and talk about these important matters,” said Renee Vala, event chair.
