Holiday Reception for Needy Children

The Atlantic County Department of Family and Community Development will host a holiday reception for underprivileged children on Thursday, December 23, 1:30-4:30 PM, in the Workforce Development Center, 1333 Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic City.

Each invited child will receive a gift from Santa and his elves, courtesy of the employees of the Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa. Light refreshments will be served.

For the past nine years, Atlantic City native Lisa Gill has been collecting and distributing gifts to children in need throughout Atlantic County. With the cooperation of her Borgata coworkers, approximately 500 gifts were donated for distribution to needy children as identifified by the Department of Family and Community Development.
