State Funding Available for Arts Organizations

Non-profit arts organizations in Atlantic County may apply for funding from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, Local Arts Development Program. This competitive grant program, administered through the Atlantic County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs, serves to promote high quality, artistic programming at the local level that is accessible to a wide audience. The deadline for applications is Thursday, October 7, 2004.

Applications may be obtained from the county Web site, www.aclink.org/culturalaffairs, or by contacting the Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs at (609) 646-8699, ext. 6314 or by email to cmasonpurdie@acmail.aclink.org.

All applications will be reviewed by an independent grant review panel and scored on merit of program and application.
