Atlantic County Veterans Services Office is Moving to Northfield

The Atlantic County Veterans Services Office is on the move. As of Wednesday, June 1 its offices will now be located in Northfield at 201 S. Shore Road on the ground floor of the Stillwater Building in the county government complex.

“Director Bob Frolow and his staff will continue to provide our veterans and their families with access to the information and resources they need. All programs and services affiliated with the Veterans Services Office will continue, but will now be based out of Northfield instead of its previous Ventnor location,” stated County Executive Dennis Levinson.

According to Levinson the reason for the move was twofold: the Northfield location is more centrally located to residents throughout the county, and, more importantly, it will save county taxpayers $16,500 annually - the cost to rent its current office space in Ventnor.

The new office is located within a county-owned facility that previously housed the Medical Examiner’s office. It is easily accessible by bus, is ADA-compliant, and includes free parking. It is also within proximity to the Veterans Administration clinic on New Road in Northfield.

The physical move from Ventnor to Northfield will take place between May 26 and May 31. Residents who need to contact the office during this transition may call the office at (609) 677-5700. This number will continue to serve as the contact number after the relocation. Information and resources are also available on the county web site at: www.aclink.org/veterans.
