Traffic Advisory UPDATE - Fire & Mill Roads, EHT

The detours in effect on Fire and Mill Roads in Egg Harbor Township will be extended past 6 PM this evening as follows for final paving operations as part of the county’s intersection improvement project:

The northbound detour on Fire Road will be in effect through 7 PM.
The Mill Road detour (between Fire Road and Burton Avenue) will remain in effect until 9 PM.

After 9 PM this evening and through 3 PM on Wednesday, November 25, motorists may still experience occasional delays near the Fire and Mill Road intersection for traffic striping.

The original Mill Road detour, eastbound between Spruce Avenue and Fire Road, will remain in effect through Monday, November 30 for the guide rail installation.

Motorists should continue to follow the posted detours and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route as delays are expected.
