Traffic Advisory UPDATE - Catawba Bridge, EHT

Route 559 (Somers Point-Mays Landing Road) will be closed to all traffic at the Catawba Bridge (EH-17) over Miry Run in Egg Harbor Township as of Monday, October 5, at the direction of the project’s contractor.

The county’s reconstruction of the 100-year old Catawba Bridge is expected to be completed in May 2016.

Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and plan travel time accordingly or seek an alternate route.
