Federal Funding for the Homeless

The Atlantic County Homeless Consortium, a group of public and private, non-profit agencies which oversee the federal funds appropriated by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, is releasing a request for proposal (RFP) for federal funds for homeless persons.

Called HUD’s Continuum of Care for the Homeless, these funds are released to organizations in Atlantic County to accommodate persons who are chronically homeless.

Interested parties may call John McLernon, Atlantic County Director of Community Relations and Social Services, at (609) 345-6700, ext. 2873 for a copy of the RFP. The deadline for submission of this document is 4:30 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2015.
