Approximately 1,000 teens from throughout the county are expected to convene on the Hammonton Arts District on Friday, May 1 to participate in the annual Atlantic County Teen Arts Festival that features performances, exhibits and workshops in a variety of artistic mediums.
The Atlantic County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs, an event sponsor, is seeking adult volunteers for morning (8 - 11 AM) and afternoon (11 AM - 2 PM) shifts to help direct participants to specific locations and assist workshop leaders and performance critiquers.
"It's a fun and rewarding day," commented Cynthia Mason-Purdie, Cultural and Heritage Affairs Administrator. "There is a wealth of talent among Atlantic County teens. They are truly amazing."
