Atlantic County Emergency Exercise - August 23
The Atlantic County Office of Emergency Preparedness will conduct a full-scale emergency exercise to review plans, test equipment and prepare volunteers to assist in response and recovery efforts on Saturday, August 23, 8 AM - 1 PM, at the Anthony Canale Training Center, 5033 English Creek Avenue, Egg Harbor Township.
Much work has been done to enhance sheltering plans in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy. Additional equipment and supplies have been acquired. This exercise will test their capabilities and include members of the county’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and Medical Reserve Corps as well as other community partners.
