Atlantic County government will honor its veterans at the 30th annual Veterans Memorial Program on Friday, May 23 at 2 PM at the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery in the Atlantic County Park, Route 50, Estell Manor.
Former US Deputy Undersecretary of Defense Noel Koch will deliver the keynote address. The program will also feature honor guard, bagpipers and buglers, and the traditional presentation of the memorial wreath.
Prior to the ceremony, local scouts will place American flags at approximately 4,000 gravesites located within the cemetery that serves as the final resting place for Atlantic County veterans and their spouses.
