Atlantic County residents and visitors will be able to quickly and easily locate local businesses and services with the new online Atlantic County Business Directory.
The directory will identify businesses by name as well as by the category of their service(s). Each entry will include business location, contact information, web site address as well as a brief description. Businesses may also include number of employees and estimated sales.
Those seeking services will be able to search by business name, category or location. There are currently 24 categories of services from architecture to family, community and non-profit as well as public utilities and environment.
“This is yet another resource to help promote our local businesses and the growth and development of our region. And there is absolutely no cost involved to include a business or to access businesses. It could not be any simpler,” explained Dennis Levinson, Atlantic County Executive.
Businesses may register for inclusion in the directory at www.ACBiz.org, the county’s economic development web site. The web site is being developed to support the county’s efforts in the area of economic development which include a leadership role for the Atlantic County Improvement Authority, a countywide multi-purpose financing and development agency.
