Public Information Session for Fire & Mill Intersection Improvement - March 5

Atlantic County officials will hold a public information session to discuss plans to reconfigure the intersection of Fire and Mill roads in Egg Harbor Township on Wednesday, March 5, between 4:00 and 6:00 PM at the Municipal Hall, 3515 Bargaintown Road.

The project includes the addition of traffic lanes to increase capacity and ease congestion as well as other related road and bridge work at the intersection. The county has acquired the necessary permitting from the state Department of Environmental Protection and the Pinelands Commission. A contract for the project is expected to be awarded in late March with the first phase of construction to begin this spring/summer.
