Planned Power Outage to Close Galloway Twp. Library Branch 9AM-4 PM on October 3
On Wednesday, October 3, Atlantic County Library System/Galloway Township at 306 E. Jimmie Leeds Road will be closed from 9 AM to 4 PM due to a planned power outage to allow for work on electric lines that service the library and Galloway municipal complex.
Power is expected to be restored by 4 PM at which time the library will reopen until closing at 8 PM. If, however, power is not restored by 4 PM, the library will not reopen until 9 AM on Thursday, October 4.
Should severe weather postpone the October 3 planned outage, it will be rescheduled for the following day, October 4, during the same hours.
Programs and activities scheduled to take place at the Galloway Township branch on October 3 have been cancelled. Residents are welcome to visit any of the library system’s other branches with locations in Brigantine, Egg Harbor City, Egg Harbor Township, Hammonton, Longport, Mays Landing, Pleasantville, Somers Point and Ventnor as well as the Buena Community Reading Center at Buena Regional High School.
