Federal Disaster Declaration Issued for June 30 Storm Damages

Atlantic County is among three southern New Jersey counties eligible for assistance from the Federal Emergency Management Agency for emergency work and repairs of facilities damaged during the June 30 severe storm and straight-line winds.

A federal disaster declaration was issued on July 19, 2012 for Atlantic, Cumberland and Salem counties to provide financial assistance to public entities and municipalities. At this time assistance to individuals and households is under review.
