STORM UPDATE - July 3, 2012
Water and ice will continue to be distributed today to Atlantic County residents who remain without power following the weekend's storm, 8 AM to 8 PM at the Hamilton Mall in Mays Landing. One 40-lb bag of ice and one case (24
bottles) of water per car.
Three cooling stations remain open 24 hours a day until further notice:
Dorothy Fire Hall, Northfield City Hall, and Margate Terrace (610 N. Fredericksburg Avenue, Margate).
Residents may also seek relief from heat at county library branches during normal business hours. All are open with the exception of Mays Landing, Egg Harbor Township and Ventnor.
Home delivered meal service and county senior services are operating today as well as dialysis transportation and nutrition transportation.
County office building in Atlantic City and Civil Court House continue to experience phone interruptions but are open for business.
Residents and businesses should report damages to their local Office of Emergency Management or access the online damage report at www.ReadyAtlantic.org. To report power outages please call Atlantic City Electric at 1-800-833-7476.
