Atlantic County June 5 Primary Election Polling Places
Following the 2010 Census, the Atlantic County Board of Elections has redistricted 11 of the 23 municipalities within Atlantic County which has resulted in changes in polling places for the 2012 primary and general elections.
The redistricted towns include: Absecon, Atlantic City, Brigantine, Buena Borough, Buena Vista Township, Egg Harbor Township, Galloway Township, Hamilton Township, Hammonton, Margate and Ventnor City.
Voters are urged to read their sample ballots to determine where they should now vote. A list of 2012 polling locations is available on the county web site at www.aclink.org/BoardOfElections. The Board will also activate a Polling Place hotline as of Monday, May 21. The hotline can be accessed by calling (609) 645-5834 or 645-5879. Voters may also contact their municipal clerk’s office to locate their polling place.
“We want to ensure that all voters know where they are supposed to vote and that they go to the correct polling place,” said Maureen Bugdon, Secretary of the Board.
“If a voter goes to vote at the wrong polling place, they may be issued a provisional ballot, but we would encourage voters to find out their correct polling place so they will be able to cast their vote in the machine,” explained Paula Dunn, Chairperson of the Board.
