Atlantic County Sheriff's Office Announces Haiti Relief Project
The Atlantic County Sheriff's Office is sponsoring a HAITI RELIEF PROJECT. Sheriff Balles stated, “As a result of the devastation suffered by the inhabitants of Haiti, it is crucial that we dig deep during this time, and offer whatever assistance we can muster. The men, women, children and elderly are experiencing horrors beyond belief. It is our job to reach out and provide the type of support that we would wish to have in the event we experienced such acts of natural disaster.”
To date, hundreds upon thousands of people, including family members of many of our Atlantic County residents, are experiencing the unimaginable. Their helplessness is only soothed by the efforts of those who have the ability to take definitive action at this time.
“We have to set aside our personal agendas long enough to recognize the opportunity to touch the lives of other human beings regardless of their geographic location,” said Balles.
