| COMMUNITY RESOURCES FOR PEOPLE WITH
DISABILITIES (CRPD) |
The Community Resources for People with Disabilities (CRPD) program
provides community-based services for individuals who are in need of
long-term institutional care. The purpose of CRPD is to help eligible
individuals remain in the community rather than be cared for in a nursing
facility or a hospital setting.
Services Available
The CRPD program offers all of New Jersey Title XIX Medicaid services
except nursing facility coverage, plus the following services:
- Private-Duty Nursing
- Personal Care Assistant
- Environmental/vehicle accessibility
adaptation
- Personal Emergency Response System
- Community Transitional

CRPD participants work together with a care manager to develop a Plan
of Care to best meet their needs. The care manager then works with the
participant to ensure that services are delivered as planned.
